Tennessee Electric Motor Co. was founded in 1936 by H.E. Grant. For over 80 Years, Tennessee Electric Motor Co. has been a leader in customer service in the motor repair business. TEM continues to this day to exceed customer expectations in every area of repairs and quality workmanship. Our goal is keeping business flowing for the customer with as little down time as possible.

Our staff includes over 300 years of combined experience working with leading edge technologies to achieve the highest quality electric motor rebuilds. Our staff is ready to accept any challenge that a customer presents to them. Should the motor be common or rare, our staff can handle the situation.

In our state of the art facility in West Nashville, we provide services to Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mississipi, though that doesn’t put a barrier on our service range. Our 22,000 square foot facility enables us to serve our surrounding area with a large stock of new motors, controls, variable speed drives, and a repair facility that is second to none.
